Technology brings many different forms of communication to the general public and the options appear endless.

Rene Thomas said she feels the way technology  is now and where it is heading allows users to filter and have more control over what, who, when and where.

Susie Nelson-Smith said she receives media through various forms, however, when it comes to her television, she uses Foxtel IQ.

“The IQ allows me to watch what I want, when I want with the luxury of fast forwarding through advertising and other areas of no interest”, Ms Nelson-Smith said.

Whichever way our information’s received, the world is our oyster in terms of technology and media, allowing the consumer more control and journalist more methods in delivering their stories.
