Permaculture is the ‘new’ culture of sustainability, although the concept has been around since the 1970’s.

The approach to permaculture is of a holistic nature to basic needs of humanity, combining the harmonious integration of landscape and people.

Marlena Bloomfield who has studied and practices permaculture said simple things such as planting your own fruit and vegetables, and always recycle are a great ways of actively practicing permaculture,” said Ms Bloomfield.

The essential rule so it is told is, if it can be recycled, then recycle and become more aware of the damage our world faces each and every day.
